Fun, cool and relaxing - waterparks are here to stay! Cyprus has the ideal weather for this new kind of entertainment loved by adults and children alike, and with three establishments on the island open mid-May to mid-October, there's no excuse for missing out on any of the aquatic action!

WATERWORLD, Agia Napa

Located on the outskirts of Agia Napa, Waterworld was the first waterpark to open in Cyprus. The theme is Ancient Greece, with every one of its 20 attractions depicting a Greek mythological tale. New rides are added each year, so don't be surprised if you find more than you expected! After the huge success of Drop To Atlantis, the Aeolos Whirlpool was introduced to much acclaim.

Also popular are the transparent Phaethon's Flume and Fall Of Icarus, the unique boomerang ride. For the adrenalin junkie, the high-thrill kamikaze slides are not to be missed; for the less adventurous, the Lazy River offers relaxation for all the family. Toddlers aren't left out either, as both the Trojan Adventure and Pegasus Pool will keep them entertained for hours.

APHRODITE WATERPARK, Paphos

Designed by experts and nestling amongst a purpose-built hill, the Aphrodite Waterpark is one of the finest parks of its kind in the world. Set in 35,000m² of landscaped grounds close to the seafront tourist area, it is ideally located to meet the needs of the hundreds of visitors it gets each day. Its 22 attractions offer something for everyone, young and old.

FASSOURI WATERMANIA, Limassol

A member of the World Waterpark Association, this waterpark contains the biggest Wave Pool in Europe and is located in the picturesque area of Fassouri on the outskirts of Limassol, set amongst the beautiful citrus groves that spread across this area. Watermania offers entertainment for all tastes: those prefering a lazy day can relax in inflatable tubes on the Lazy River, whilst the Open Slide is big enough for the whole family to slide down at the same time.

For the thrill-seekers, the Probowl is a completely enclosed tube that swirls around the people inside in a whirlpool effect, and the Black Hole and the Kamikaze provide similar adrenalin rushes. Naturally, safety is paramount and professional lifeguards ensure a safe environment for every Watermaniac at all times. Apart from waterslides, there are games, restaurants, a gift shop and a video arcade.
